Since it was introduced to the market in 1985 the famous Alessi kettle with bird shaped whistle has become an iconic piece of contemporary product design. Designer Michael Graves took his inspiration from a fusion of art deco, pop art and even the language of cartoons to create this curvaceous, cool looking kettle. Constructed from high quality 18/10 stainless steel, it has a poly-amide handle for a comfortable grip and a bird that sings when the kettle is boiled. This kettle is suitable for all hob types including ceramic, induction and gas.
